FAQ
The supplied 6-32 screws are typically screwed in a few rotations in order to hold and position the target.
The supplied cut out files are based off an average of many outlet boxes. The lines on the target show you the cut outs that you will add. If you need to adjust the supplied cut out file to accommodate on site conditions, you will have to offset the existing file or make your own.
New work outlets are typically mounted to studs and are non-adjustable. Old work outlets are typically ones that can be added into this splash and have ears that will fasten the box in place.
Adjustable boxes have been grouped in with the old work box cutouts. The slightly bigger cutout used with old work boxes allows the adjustable boxes to be raised and lowered without interfering with the backsplash.
The laser can stay on the tripod. Leaving your laser on the tripod will allow you to better position the laser for more accurate shooting.
